The judges’ scores were 30-27 across the aboard. Round one was a bit of a stalemate, with neither fighter getting a considerable advantage, particularly with referee Yves Levigne exercising a quick trigger finger on restarts. He rocked Pokrajac with a big right, and while he wasn’t able to finish, he did control the remainder of the round on the ground. In the final round, Pokrajac scored a takedown, but Jimmo quickly reversed position. He stayed there much of the rest of the fight, fending off a Pokrajac guillotine along the way. After the bout, Jimmo was disappointed in his performance. I was coming off a loss, I fought really conservatively, said Jimmo. I’m so sorry to all the fans for putting on not such a great fight. Jimmo (20-2) got back into the win column after having a 19-fight win streak snapped in his last fight. Pokrajac, a native of Zagreb, Croatia, dropped to 25-10.
