“I feel bad for pat Healy that they took a innocent mans money and I think the guy who took the money is the biggest Fag in the world ..”
He followed that tweet up with a second tweet containing only the hashtag:
Upon finding out about Diaz’s usage of the word Fag, Dana White took to the internet to assure those concerned that Diaz’s actions had consequences and stated that he would be suspended and fined or cut from the promotion entirely as a result of his choice of words. Nate Diaz’s manager, Mike Kogan, immediately sprung into action attempting to clarify that at least colloquially in the 209 area code faggot means bitch or punk and has no homosexual overtones.
“Guess what?” Kogan told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). “The word f—-t, at least in Northern California, and where Nate is from, means bitch. It means you’re a little punk. It has nothing to do with homosexuals at all. So when Nate made the comment that he made, he didn’t make it in reference to homosexuals or calling Caraway a homosexual. He just said it was a bitch move.”
It appears that Mr. Kogan is not only unaware of the usage of such terms as punk, bitch and faggot in reference to homosexual relationships in prison but that he considers the UrbanDictionary to be a reliable source for linguistic deniability.  Obviously, Nate did not mean to insinuate that Caraway was a homosexual as almost everyone is  aware of Bryan’s ongoing relationship with Miesha “Cupcake” Tate, but using a pejorative term for gays as a weapon even against non-gays just goes to show how sharp the word can be.  As of Thursday evening, Nate Diaz has been suspended by the UFC pending an internal investigation.
