Another incredibly random top to bottom card from the UFC

It looks pretty solid though. A lot of matchups that could produce fireworks. The main event should be a barn burner.
Officially 8-2 in sig bets. *pats back*

Yes please. That main dish has some nice fights. Lauzon-Cerrone is a blessing.

Don't know too many on the prelims but how the hell are Wineland and McGee still fighting. Hope they both win.

I agree with you guys, these fights look quite random yet the whole main card and some prelims sound fun. Looking forward to watching it.

This is fantastic. 2 old dogs going at it, and a very solid main card. Should be fun.

Could go either way, Guram didn't fight for 18 months or so. Great fight in any case.

Super close but i thought Kattar edged the 2nd and clearly won 4,5 based on significant strikes.

Emmett clearly won 3rd

Round 1 could even be a draw

Overall great fun card with lots of finishes

500k on bonuses, uncle Dana put the hand in the pocket.

This event as a whole scores very high. Loads of good finishes or good fights. Incredibly entertaining from start to finish.

Several people shit themselves and cryyyyyyyyyy and were unable to continue fighting

As random as it was, it turned out to be a great event. Loads of finishes, violence but also technique.

What stood out for me:

Phil Hawes is a serious threat. He is also a dumbass for talking shit to DC on TV for seemingly no good reason. Yanez is definitely on his way to get a ranked opponent, very curious to see him fight anyone in the top 15, BW is stacked. Jeremiah Wells is a dangerous dude.

Robocop was on a mission to KTFO his opponent at any cost. And that was absolutely brutal, like 3 knockdowns and a finish in the 1st round.
As per his wiki page: "Rodriguess faced Julian Marquez, replacing Wellington Turman, on June 18, 2022 at UFC on ESPN 37.[19] He won the bout in the first round after knocking the hell out of Marquez"

I'm pretty glad Buckley got to shine as well. It doesn't hurt that he rearranged Duraev's face (a guy who supports beheadings...). His wrestling defense was on point as well, looking forward to his next fight. Kevin Holland did his thing, talked during the fight, looked sharp and fast as hell on the feet and had a nice surprising sub. Didn't disappoint.

Damir and Guram was the most interesting fight for me and they did fight quite well, high level all the way. Now, did Herb Dean mess up at the end of the fight? Possibly... Because the knee seemed to be landing on the neck and not the head. If Guram was able to be on top Of Damir for the last 15 seconds, he might have landed 4-5 shots and change the outcome of the round. I don't blame Dean though, it was a split second decision to take. It ended in a split decision but I think Guram could have taken it if he hadn't been stood up.

Kattar and Emmett delivered a good fight as expected but I was disappointed by Kattar for not mixing it up. He should have used a lot of push/front kicks to keep Josh at bay. For me, Josh had rounds 2-3 and Kattar had 4-5. 1st round was close, I had Kattar taking it but I'm not mad, it wasn't a robbery.

Overall, lots of good stuff and next week's event sounds fun as well

Have to mention I was bummed that Cowboy vs Lauzon was canceled last minute again :-(
