Henry Cejudo, one of the more polarizing figures in MMA right now, has followed the current trend in champions by handpicking a less than deserving opponent. The current champion of cringeweight has been scheduled to face the stellar but injury-prone Dominick Cruz. This match up should raise many questions for the hardcore fan while other hardcore pundits will place this fight in the business as usual category. It will be interesting to see how it ends at the end of the day but it begs questions like "Does Cruz have a chance?" or "What is up with UFC matchmaking?" To top this all off, Cejudo had the nerve to say there were no other options at cringeweight. Aljo? Yan? I'm not quite sure where or if Yan was available, but Sterling certainly would have considered the fight, no? I guess we can just expect the UFC to use the COVID pandemic as their latest excuse to make wild matchups, but do they really need to? I mean, they just be UFC'in as usual, right?
