I’m not sure how Nate is...

Nate Diaz was a huge underdog against Michael Johnson and pieced him the fuck up. He’s been betting underdog in his last 7 fights

Nick Diaz maybe so. He spent too much time complaining about the scoring system and fake retiring.

Maybe so because he is so popular, but he's still a more accomplished fighter with better accolades/titles/wins than both the Diaz Crybabies.

It depends on who you ask. If you ask a Diaz fan they can range from having realistic expectations to distorting reality. The majority of which tend to point closer to the latter. Both Diaz brothers were great fighters but never had what it took to take the belts from the UFC title holders. Not with fighting styles that are so very predictable and easy to counter by amazing well rounded fighters such as GSP and Benson Henderson. They basically make great gatekeepers for title contention.

Conor is overrated because he never proved himself to be worth the hype behind him. Sure he defeated Aldo and Alvarez but lost the majority of his fights afterwards. He never defended his belts unlike the true greats in the sport. I mean the guys he did beat to gain the title were already beat before the fight started. Then he loses to gatekeeper Diaz and squeaks out a "win" over him in the next bout that could easily be a draw. He fooled a lot of people with his brash talking and it just goes to show how easily people are swayed and blinded by words so quickly only to find out later he really couldn't back them up.

They aren't overrated. I've never heard their name in goat discussions or even champ discussions. They just have a lot of fans that love watching them fight regardless of their record. And for good reason
