Yeah that's right you sorry sacks of shit
This is another Meow thread
Go cry about it to your mom if you have an issue with it
To celebrate the holiday weekend we have been blessed with a solid mma lineup
The 4/20 day starts with UFC in Russia, 10 a.m. Eastern Time, and ends with Rizin 15 at 2 in the morning.
Everyone should come and watch both events with me in chat. I shall be toking and watching violence all day. Come joke with me and watch some violence
Here are the top 4 fights on each card I look forward to.
Olyinik vs Reem
Fizaev vs Mustafaev
Shtyrkov vs Clark
Makchavev vs Tsarukyan
Olyinik vs the Reem will be finished one way or the other. I would love to see old man Olyinik pull off another kooky submission however the Reems takedown defense is incredibly good. Olyinik does have weird striking he uses well at time to draw his opponents attention away from the takedown, and vice versa, but still I see Reem finding the finish here on an exhausted Olyiinik.
Fizaev is a beast who I have made a thread about already. He has a very top notch muay thai game and he wins his fights via strikes when he does. in mma he is 6-0 i believe with 5 tko and 1 submission. Mustafaev finishes all his fights too albeit some by submission too. Both are very aggressive and very explosive. Another fight with a good finish most likely
Shtytyrkov somehow is planning on making 205 and passing drug tests. A google search will show you in inherent skepticism on why either will occur. If both happen his fight with Clark will be entertaining though.
Makachev has a lot of hype and rightly so. His record is great. His skills are great. However nobody overlook Tsarukyan. He has the record he does for a reason and his striking has improved greatly since going Tiger Muy Thai. This fight will be a barn burner and Islam has a legit shot of losing here
Now on to Rizin 15
Horiguchi vs Nyugen
Gustavo vs Asukara
Tenshin vs Fritz Aldin Biagtan (kickboxing)
Kitaoka vs Souza
Horiguchi is always fun to watch and is a current favorite of mine. Nyugen also is a exciting fighter who wins via finish or loses via finish usually. An upset would be huge here but I predict Horiguchi gets a win then fights in the rematch in Bellator for Caldwells belt in the summer
Gustavo vs Asakara is going to be nuts. Gustavo is a Wandy protege and fights like it. Incredibly violent and aggressive. His short notice win the main event of his Rizin debut over Yachi was impressive, Yachi is a good fighter and much larger and Gustavo tore through him. Asakura is a aggressive striker with a lot of power too. This will only be great
Tenshin coming off his amazing cartwheel type kick KO gets a sturdy test with Biagtan. He is quite the kickboxer in his own right. This will be great.
Kitaoka is another OG of mma with wins over guys like Condit, Kawajiri, Pelligrino, Daley, Gomi, etc. He has been doing it forever and seeing him picking up wins even now is awesome. Against Souza he fights an undefeated BJJ beast. So the ground game here will be great. Would love to see Kitaoka pick up another win over a younger fighter here
So everyone come celebrate 4/20 with me in chat as we watch fights. Both the UFC and Rizin cards look packed in terms of style wise exciting fights.
See you all Saturday!
