Wanderlei Silva5 years
Like try to find some good ones
I knew it looked wrong. : ) 2000 - 2004 (2000,2001,2002,2003,2004)and if we count that Mark Hunt travesty as a win.. Wandy was undefeated for almost 6 years.
In my head he is undefeated from 2000 till the Crocop loss. (7 years of dominance)
a obvious choice could be renan barao who was 32-1 or some shit, only losing his first fight.(8 years, me thinks)Khabib should be up there... fighting since 2008. .......... in his 11th year as an undefeated MMA competitor.
^^sounds hardcore.pretty much averaging about 2,4 fights a year.
Igor - 1996 till mid 2000 --->close to 5 years. (37-0)
Tito had 5 years of dominance,as well, me thinks..
Rich Franklin had a '5 year reign', before losing to Machida. And then a 3 year one, before losing to Anderson Silva.
an honourary mention.. A fighter that 'left' us, prematurely. The late Evan Tanner. Started fighting in 1997,with only his 'High School wrestling' and 'Bas Rutten's instructional videos' as tools and almost 20 years later - he became the UFC MW champion, with a record of 31-4. (going 1-1 with Hearing,and losing twice to Franlin and once to Tito)All of his losses were for the belt of the respectable organization.
31-4. Had it not been for 'the bottle', Some of his late losses would have never happened..
Master of the triangle choke. He used to hold the record for most arm triangle victories, in MMA history.
Royce had an 8 year span.
While rickson can't lose.
Gaetje went 18-0..that streak propably lasted for aaages
