UFC WW Curtis Millender

Dude looks promising. Good record, put on a clinic against Thiago Alves a few months back. Guys is someone to look out for IMO. This weekend at UFC 226 he's the first fight on the FS1 prelims against Max Girffin. 30 years of age, he looks experienced and comfortable in there (Record of 15-3).

Definitely my pick for the Dark Horse in the WW division. He's also very dark-skinned so The Dark Horse would be a badass nickname for him!

This card is great even with the loss of Max Holloway vs. Ortego.

I remember seeing Millender in bellator when he was like 8-1 with 1 tko win or some shit. He lost a few fights in a row and looked really uncomfortable with pressure and applying his techniques. He looked overwhelmed at times

Fast forward a year or two and I see him on LFA or RFA or one of those regional promotions on Axis tv. All of the sudden his footwork was much better, defensive posture was greatly improved and he had a whole new skillset of kicks and knees especially which in turn really helped his hands out

Dude must have worked his ass off to improve and it shows. I wish the best for him as his fighting style is fun to watch. Those shots he landed on Alves were so slick. He has his hands full with Max this weekend though

Should be a fun fighter to keep an eye on
Officially 6-2 in sig bets. *pats back* 5 time A league champion. :gold: :gold: :gold: :gold: :gold:

I think Millender beats griffin, and i am unsure, if Millender will dominate or if Max will give Millender a tough fight. Max isnt short, and has a long reach, so I don't think Curtis will be able to use Max as target practice like the way he did with Alves. IIrc when Alves started to mix up his strikes, and be more aggressive he had more success. Max has better hands than Alves.

I also remember Curtis having a tough fight against Kevin Holland another talented prospect with a long reach.
