Is Nate Diaz a Ducking Coward?

Postby TheMadTitan » Sun Jun 03, 2018 7:13 pm

Dana has said he has to offer these guys 3 fights a year, and Nate turns all of them down.

What is he waiting for, I wonder....

McGregor Trilogy obviously, but Jesus Christ guys, how can anyone be a fan of this prick at this point?

Sick of it. He turned down a fight with GSP at 155lbs. Like, really bro??!?!?!

I don't blame any fighter for treating MMA as a business rather than a sport because at the top level it will always be a business over a sport. The promotion doesn't give a shit about the fighters so it's up to them to maximize their ability to earn. The Diaz brothers are in a rare position were they can pretty much dictate the terms they want to fight under. Both of them have already fought for peanuts and fought for PPV points on a big PPV and I don't blame them or any other fighter for not just fighting to fight.

Promoters will still be able to make money long after a fighter will be able to and they won't be the ones suffering the effects of CTE and all the other damage done to their body.

Stopped reading here. But seriously, that means that Conor has turned down a bunch of fights in his absence as well.

What happened to Nate is kind of like what happened to Connie; they both have tasted big money and don't feel like they have to settle for less. Can't say I blame them despite how annoying it is to us fans.
