Penn looked better than he did in a long time. Well "long" time might be a bit of an exaggeration, he looked impressive in the short time before Ryan Hall took his foot.

GSP broke his will, Frankie took over his division, Fitch wrestled him into gladly accepting a draw, a camp at Jackson Wink made him look like a kid at his first ballet class, Yair turned him into a punching bag and Hall completed the circle by demonstrating the audience modern BJJ.

How legendary BJ may be, his record now has almost as much draws and losses combined as wins. 16-13-2, with one draw in my book being a Fitch win without a doubt. Even Penn admitted he got his ass kicked.

Maybe one last fight with a legend to seal the BJ story once and for all? Gilbert Melendez perhaps? He has four straight losses and USADA got to him as well.

Aoki sadly isn't in the UFC, that would've made an interesting match. The Japanese with his mediocre striking vs a "motivated BJ. With the chance of Shinya with near surgical precision removing every last limb. If it hits the ground, and the 'baka survivor' chooses to do so.

I used to love BJ Penn but now he is a complete joke. He doesn't even seem to care that he keeps losing. What the hell was his strategy? He is a way better striker than Hall and how many punches did he throw? It is sad to watch this legend turn into a joke.

Maybe idiots like Joe Rogan made him think he was great on the ground. Anyway I think he was pacing himself which he needed to do.

Dear BJ,

We read an amazing stat today. You are the only fighter in UFC history to have a stoppage in every round, and they all came in championship fights.

Truly unbelievable. The legend never dies.

Love always,

Linker
