5 to 10 is a good range for dips. BTW, it wouldn't be hard to make a dip station. Do you have a power rack?

Negative on the power rack. Just a bench, weights, 6ft 50lb barbell, and a set of 35 dumbells.

Power Clean: 5x5 (120lbs)
Deadlift: 1x5 (160lbs) 3x5(190lbs) 2x5(210lbs) either I was being a pussy before or the mixed grip that Smith suggested was spot on.
Standing OHP: 5x5 (95lbs)
Standing Barbell Rows: 5x5 (60lbs) trying to get the form right still :(
Decline Bench sit ups: 2x50 (35lbs)

Going back to MT class tonight since I had no problem going 7 hard rounds on the bag.


I do not have a bike currently KC due to my maturity level. If I drive as fast as I do in my car, it would be dangerous for me to purchase a motocycle until I grow up a little.

Right now the bike I like most is the Suzuki B-king

I had to work late last night so no MT practice.


Warm up: .5 mile
Bag work: 5 rounds (@5 min)


The 5 minute rounds are quite a bit tougher than the 3 minute rounds, and I gassed about midway through round 5.

So I went to the doctor today to get my MRI reviewed and it turns out that I did in fact injure my shoulder.

This is what I was given as information:

Diagnosis: Right shoulder injury Anterior/Inferior instability. Bankart Lesion.

Procedure: Right Shoulder Scope w/ Bankart reconstruction capsulloraphey.


From what I was told I will not be able to move my right arm in a particular direction for 6 weeks after the surgery (hold right arm down by side, raise hand up to waist, rotate hand to the right away from body). Moving the arm in any other direction should be fine but I guess I will learn more about that later. The link below has more about the bankart lesion/tear.

So did he say its a simple procedure and you'll be good to go after a few months down time?

Ya from what the doc said I will have about 6 weeks of downtime then I should be good to go. From what I have read there is a 90% chance that I will not dislocate it again after I have healed.
