So I found this section of the site and decided to start contributing my workouts as well. My workout was also developed between Smith and myself because Smith is the man. For the record my stats are:

Height: 6'1
Weight: 170-172


I did not get a chance to work out on Tuesday due to band practice which could really be considered cardio with my style of playing. I typically lose around 2 to 3 pounds of water weight through sweat during an hour or more practice so judge for yourself.


Tonight I will be doing Chest/Tri's/Core and possibly some jump rope and drumming. Will post exact numbers tomorrow.

Round 1: Pushups (25) Situps (25) Until round end.
Round 2: Electric Chair (1 min), Elbows and toes (1 min), Electric Chair (1 min)

The weather here is super crazy so I am going to skip going to the gym to hit the bag at home.

Took the day off to eat dinner at the parents house. Shoulder is bothering me a little bit, but not enough to keep my out of Muay Thai tonight. Update after class.

Muay Thai

Lead leg front kick (2 round @ 4 min)
Back leg front kick (2 round @ 4 min)
Continuous lead then back (2 round @ 4 min)

(We had an odd number of people in class yesterday so I worked on a bag instead of with a partner. That's why the kicks are 2 rounds instead of 1.)

25 Push ups/25 situps/25 squats (1 round @ 4 min)


I feel that my cardio is back in action again so on Friday I will start doing the beginners and advanced class. The only difference with the advanced class is that instead of drilling there is usually a lot of clinching and sparring.

My shoulder has still been bothering me a little bit latley so I did cardio work today instead of lifting.

1 round (30 sec reg/30 sec high knees) @ 3min

We worked a lot of spinning elbows horizontal/downward angle/and uppercut angle elbows. We then worked in combinations using the elbows but I am tired and do not feel like typing out every combo but I will give example.

Jab/Double Jab/Spinning Elbow(pad holder determined which kind each combo)/Front leg push kick/Double head kick rear leg.

2 Rounds Free Clinching @ 3 min

2 rounds condidioning @ 3 min:

Round 1:
Circle up and worked abs. Each person calls out a different abs exercise and we do 10 reps then the next person calls something out. /end round

Round 2:
Elbows and toes (1min)
Electric chari (1 min)
Elbows and toes (1 min)

Now I'm going to shower and drink a beer in celebration.

Pad work:

Round 1: 1-2, left hook, double right kick

Round 2: 1-2, left uppercut, right straight, double left kick

Round 3: 5 kicks right leg, 5 kicks left leg, 5 double kicks right leg, 5 double kicks left leg

Round 4: 1-2, roll under hook, return with right hook

Round 5: 1-2, left uppercut, roll under hook, return left hook

Round 6: Continuious 1-2

Round 7: Continuious 1-2
