Your petty personal feelings towards individuals are limiting your growth as a human being.

BTW this has nothing to do with MMA. Cheers

I never thought about it until now but Dana has pretty much no PPV stars that are not sitting out or suspended. There is actually a small chance he might drive this thing into the ground.

You're making a good point, but the year isn't over yet. They have the DC vs Stipe card coming up and and that card is so stacked. They also hope Conor comes back for at least 1 card before years end. If they get Brock's big ass back into the ring this year it would change everything. They still have all the TV and sponsorship deals. Everyone thought the UFC was fucked when Ronda walked away, but the UFC seems to keep on chugging. Time will tell tho. :alarm:

Agreed.

Love how Al has set himself up to be proof if how unjust the UFC is with its revenue distribution.
Dana White should not have the means to even entertain the idea of backing such a huge financial endeavour such as a separate boxing promotion.
The fighters are who we watch, who we support and who made the sport for us.
You wanna know why we didnt get mad that PRIDE was backed by the Yakuza?
Because none of us gave a fuck and loved the fighters, not the investors and not the promoters.
You think any of us give a fuck about WME?
I regret knowing they're the ones who took the Fertittas from us.
The only person any of us miss from PRIDE that we miss that's not a fighter is the woman whose name no one gives a fuck about because if you call her screaming announcing lady people know who you're talking about

I don't want mma to delve completely into boxing territory but the fighters need a chance to separate themselves from the corporations and businesses they represent.
Al is a fantastic fighter and I hate seeing how removed from the sport he's become and his fight with Justin can only be fanfuckingtastic.

I appreciate that. Thank you.

On topic: I really like this fight but imo there is no reason for it to be 5 rounds. Why can’t it just kick off a paper view card?

UFC lightweight Al Iaquinta: Dana White has zero power over me

UFC lightweight contender Al Iaquinta is once again displeased with top management. A week ago, “Ragin Al’” put UFC president Dana White on blast for the company’s plan to move the weigh-in time from the early morning back to its original schedule at 4 pm.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Iaquinta remains defiant about the intended schedule change.

”I’m going to weigh-in and then I’m going to start eating,” Iaquinta said. “I signed a contract under the assumption we are weighing in in the morning, so we are. There will be no afternoon weigh-in, 100 percent.”

”Dana is out of line, and this is the last straw. They’ve never seen anyone like me. I will do everything in my power to make sure this is done the right way. We are weighing in in the morning.”

When reports first came out about a possible fight against Justin Gaethje, Iaquinta responded by tweeting out “#fakenews.” According to him, it is a way of sending a strong message to the UFC executive.

”That was me saying, ‘I’m not freaking Yair Rodriguez,’” Iaquinta explained. “You cut me, I’m not crying and coming back. Dana White has no power over me. That guy has zero power over me.”

Iaquinta is also a board member of Project Spearhead, an association that aims to unionize mixed martial arts professionals. He adds that he feels obligated to fight for the rights of those who share the same grievances towards White and the UFC.

”I’ve got to keep fighting inside the cage and out,” Iaquinta said. “The UFC needs a person like me, because I love this sport, and Dana -- I don’t know if he loves this anymore. I think he’s just addicted to the spotlight and making it all about him.”

”The more Dana White gets in front of a mic, the stronger we get. The more he opens his mouth, the more [Project Spearhead] forms we fill out. The fighters have gotten a taste of what it feels like to get a full, almost 36 hours of time to rehydrate. I’ve reached out to more than enough people to know that if he moves that, it will be the last straw that does him in.”

Iaquinta vs. Gaethje will officially headline the UFC’s upcoming event in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 25th.

He does have a point, if they signed a contract to fight when weigh ins were in the morning then Dana can go get fucked. He basically shits on Dana every chance he gets and gets a shitle tot and another main event  Now you got Brock next in line to fight the winner of Stipe/DC. The UFC is turning into shit.

Good. Dana has been saying and doing stupid things for years and it's about time someone speaks up and doesn't back down.

Al is out of his fight with gaethje.

From what I understand it’s non injury related. We don’t why.

Kevin lee was offered the fight and he declined like a bitch. Kevin lee ain’t bout shit.

James Vick is now fighting gaethje.

My cousin Paul felder gets fucked twice in a row now.

Fuck you al & fuck you kevin

Major props to Al for refusing to be a corporate cuck. People in this country are so used to bending over that they not only take pride in it but also decry anyone who stands up for themselves. Keep on ragin', Al!

That was a great fight. I’m pisssed.

Even more pissed that Kevin lee declined. Imo gaethje is a terrible matchup for him.

Also pissed that now my cousin Paul gets fucked for a second straight time.

Both were headliners, I wonder who they will give him now/whose available
