Not easy to just pick 5, quite a few others could be in there.

Love the list.

I have a spinoff question for you mr sir. Sir mr sir.

If you had to pick just one, no choice to say it is a tie, would you say Godfather 1 or 2 is better?

Personally I go back and forth. Both have great advantages the others does not. Marlon Brando in the first is sensational but so is De Niro in the 2nd. Makes me all meow really.

Most days If I had to pick i would choose the 1rst. Again though only If i HAD to choose.

I say Godfather 1.
And yes it is a real candidate for top 5.

Godfather II for me, but I completely understand choosing the first one. II might be my favorite movie overall. It's just so well done.

True. But it's this one scene that puts it over the top. Lots of people get killed in lots of movies including this series. But this 1 kill, so simple and so intense. No suspense music, no frills. Got my heart pounding.

That said I haven't watched these movies in ages.

My daughter wanted to watch it the other day. As soon as I put it on she started texting. I turned it off. No texting while watching Godfather.

I tried Godfather 1, Scarface, the Goodfellas and Casino with my wife. She was on her phone within 5 minutes each time. So, I totally get you.

I wouldn't even attempt them with my daughter...

That scene is amazing and one of the best of both movies. There are just aspects of the second one that I especially like. I can watch both without really getting tired of them.

I'm not sure the current and future generations have the attention spans for these movies anymore. I remember watching movies like Judgement at Nuremberg when I was quite young and they were some of my favorites. It's hard to picture kids watching those kinds of movies these days.

That's a great scene, except for the guy getting shot in the throat with his forehead shot already.. But back in the days, it was acceptable to make mistakes.

I agree that the current generation does not have the patience to watch those movies. They buy bitcoins and believe they'll be rich the next day...

There are quite a few obvious things like that. One of my favorites is when Sonny is beating the shit out of Carlo in the street and literally misses a punch by a foot  I don't mind it at all. Thankfully, computers weren't used to create the entire movie.

Spoiler:

Neither the youtube video nor the movie My Friend Dahmer on Netflix is available in Canada.

But we do have a Dahmer show, mini series. I almost started watching it, but I realized it's 10 episodes. That's too much Dahmer for me.

Old Dahmer joke...

What it did Jeffery Dahmer say to Lorena Bobbit?
Spoiler:
Are you going to eat that?

13 assassins is amazing dope action flick. Pretty gory at parts
Repo man is just a guilty pleasure cult movie
The Duellists is a movie i don't know why more people haven't watch. Compelling performances from both main actors
And Rocky horror is just good fun.
