i personally like the spider web position over taking the back any day

really? spider web rather than back? definitely not me...

Different strokes for different folks I guess. A guy I was talking to at work the other day was flabbergasted when I told him that I preferred side control to mount.

ill take side control over mount any day as well. i feel like i have so many more options when im in side control

in a fight though you should go for the mount. it allows you to deliver more damage..

As I said before I have shitty balance from the mount. Also, Kimura/Americana = more damage than a punch in the face.
We all need some place we can go away to, some place where we can be who we should have been instead of who we are.

Here is a version by Robert Drysdale... this is a pretty slick submission.
