Here's the explanation, it's in Japanese but he does it slow a lot so it should be easy to figure out.

Aoki highlight where he uses that arm break at 5:04.

An interesting side note: Aoki's nickname 'Tobikan Judan' means 'master of fly submissions.'
We all need some place we can go away to, some place where we can be who we should have been instead of who we are.

That reminds me, my old BJJ teacher regularly used standing arm triangles at work. He's a bouncer.
We all need some place we can go away to, some place where we can be who we should have been instead of who we are.

yeah i train with a cop and he said he uses them all the time in the streets
