Wow...this dude really thinks "jerrymandering" is the reason right leaning politics has been crippled in California. Stopped reading there.... Both parties jerrymander. It is in no semblance shape or form the reason. Might read the rest later.... I imagine it's just as retarded as the first part.

Why am I PC? Because I don't blame immigrants for every problem or because I pointed out CA isn't really in shambles? Is it because I referenced studies or don't call people kikes?

Do you... know...what jerrymandering is? It's a tactic of dividing voting populations to suppress a certain party...

You should really look into this stuff before you start talking out of your ass man:

evidence wrote:After the 1980 census California became entitled to 45 congressional districts, a growth of two.[4] Democrats controlled both houses of the legislature and the governorship but were feeling vulnerable after former Governor Reagan had won California by a landslide in the 1980 presidential election. Democratic Congressman Phillip Burton and new State Assembly Speaker Willie Brown devised a redistricting plan that would result in five new safe Democratic seats.[5] Congressman Burton would boast that the bizarrely shaped map, which included a 385-sided district, was "My contribution to modern art".[6] Reacting to what was called "one of the most notorious gerrymanders" of the decade,[7] Republicans successfully placed a veto referendum on the primary ballot and California voters overwhelmingly rejected the legislature's redistricting plans in the June 1982 election, the same election that enacted the California Constitution's Victim's Bill of Rights.[8]

A majority of the California Supreme Court justices, however, had been appointed by Governor Jerry Brown and a sharply fractured court ordered the rejected districts to be used in the November election because only it was "practicable".[9] Democrats won 60% of the congressional seats despite only taking 49.9% of the statewide vote.[10] Democrats still lost the statewide elections, losing the governorship and incumbent Governor Jerry Brown losing his U.S. Senate bid to San Diego Mayor Pete Wilson. Governor Brown responded by calling an extraordinary legislative session, amending a previously passed bill with the redistricting plan that had just been rejected by the electorate, and signing the redistricting plan into law hours before being replaced by Republican George Deukmejian.[11]

Wow, look at how crippled Republican politics is in California! It's like Conservatives don't even exist. So oppressed!

And why are we mourning California in the first place? Shouldn't the "Muh 'Murca!" crowd be more upset at New York?

Actually, when I was looking into this there were articles about CA going from worst to first so apparently CA was much worse but they redrew the districts a couple years back to make things a bit more even.

Still has a reputation as the most liberal of the states tho (and apparently the least hygenic)

Not sure why I jumped into that topic honestly  probably just another excuse to talk shit to KOP for spouting off propoganda he hasn't even looked into :-D

You two really played yourselves. I expect it from bwamm but come on Pbells....cease and desist.
I wonder what the majority ethnic background of those areas that vote so heavily blue and are so heavily populated are?

Thanks for helping prove my point. Checkmate fools.

Population density?! You mean like every other state in the country?! No way!

You still didn't answer my question about why we're supposed to mourn California

I guess mourn for what it once was? Like pre 90's? And my point that you helped me made is pretty clear and you know it.
The heaviest populated areas in California vote democrat. These voters are by a large margin majority hispanic. So yes those red areas are indeed oppressed in the sense of though the map looks closer to 60-40 it's really way more skewed to the democrats.

AOC is doing a great job driving out the wealthy and businesses by trying to tax them to death. Is that what you are referencing in New York?

As far as modern California goes? Let it burn and all the Feinsteins with it.

Maybe if the counties had to compete for some reason, but I'm sure there are Republican governments in north California that aren't affected by what happens in Los Angeles county. Most of the BS (and I agree that it's BS) is in the Bay Area or down south and IMO inconsequential to the rest of the state.

The democrats speaking spanish during their first "debate"to pander to illegal aliens....who they want to allow to vote with a driver's license...even though they shouldn't be allowed to get a driver's license.....Wow. The hypocrisy. They claim to be against the imaginary foreign interference in 2016....and yet want to allow 20 million foreign nationals to vote in american elections  I wonder which way their intended audience will vote? HONK FUCKING HONK.

Spoiler:

I don't even know if Beta O Dork was the most cringe worthy person on stage....it's like they were all competing to be the most "woke" far left ass clown.

Man. Pure cringe

That's just simply not true dude....the policies of the state affect every county/area in the state....plus all their electoral votes going toward the democrats every election for the longest time. There's only so much local government can do....for example they still have to abide by California's ridiculous gun laws and taxes.

wtf? you think you are the first person to point out that rural areas vote red more than urban ones..?

I'm sure the 3% increase in Latino population in SF between 2010 and 1970 is DEFINITELY what makes them so blue

States with highest latino populations:
1. New Mexico 48% (DEMOCRAT)
2. Texas 39.1% (REPUBLICAN)
3. California 38.9% (DEMOCRAT)
4. Arizona 30.9% (REPUBLICAN)
5. Nevada- 28.5% (DEMOCRAT)

KOP: Oh dude, latino's vote blue dude-thats why California is blue, its the only way, OBVIOUSLY MAN!!!

Have yall ever kicked it with a Latino? Of all my Latino friends in Texas most of them were not down with gender fluidity, abortions or homosexuality-overall pretty conservative values/christian values.....the right has put these folks in a bind because they HAVE to vote democrat. Yall stop being so loud about deporting their family members and I think you'll find they naturally gravitate more to the red

Dem's aren't even an advocate for immigrants-most of the wall on the border: California. Most deportations by any president ever: democrat. They just do that shit on the low while yall are out here chanting 'BUILD THE WALL'

Yall are playing into the left's hand with the vocal anti immigrant stuff, that voter base would be up for grabs without yall handing it to the dems.

Went from 'white liberals in gated communities' to 'immigrants' being the cause of CA's cuckery in a real hurry I notice

KOP: immigrants lower minimum wage and cuckify places look at California going Blue because they have so many immigrants!!!!

....meanwhile California has the 3rd highest minimum wage by state in the country

Sooooo do immigrants lower minimum wage or nah? Turned a whole state blue and somehow forgot they were supposed to lower wages while they were at it?

Keep trying bud.

“taxing the wealthy and business to death”
