Which Man Wins in His Prime (Part 2)

Postby Mr Meow » Tue Jun 11, 2019 1:42 pm

Simple question. Hopefully you wank stains won't fuck this one up.

If both men fought in their primes, who would win?

A prime Kenny Shamrock (with steroids)

A prime Hickson Gracie (also with steroids)

Who wins and why?

Lets assume this fight takes place under UFC rules in the mid 90s. No Hickson threatening to pull out of the event last minute unless they give him preferential rules.

I will comment eventually in this thread but leave my pick open so as not to prejudice your view

Thats a veeeeeeeeerry hard question to answer...... shamrock was #1 for most of the 90s.. but Rickson was undefeated....and much better than Royce, who went 1-1 with Ken...

I don't know what to say... It is a fight that I would have paid to watch. ken folded sometimes, during his career and sort of underperformed... Rickson never did that.. i dont know.. Common sense should propably say Shamrock, but I am torn here..

I will vote for Rickson, although I think that Ken would have had a better share of victories, had they fought 10 times.

Ken, Frank, Bas, Funaki, Suzuki , Mezger etc etc. all rape Hickson in 1997 with gloves on and no special rules so Rickson can beat up a broken down man or 1996 with no gloves. Those gifs are beauties phil...amazing takedown defense sprawl into a standing guillotine....and then how do you even explain the awesome that is landing a belly to belly suplex in a real fight. Made it looks just as easy as this fake one:

Spoiler:
Fragg you shame yourself and your family for a thousand generations for suggesting that Ken loses to Hickson. Royce beat Ken with a cheap trick with his gi the first time....and Ken wasn't in his prime either. Ken around 96-98 rapes Hickson badly. Gi...or no Gi.

KOP is right.

Any of those first mixed martial artist who could grapple and strike would have murdered Ricksons fake ass and fake 400-0 record.

His record counts 2 victories against the same guy in 1984 lmfao.

Gracie family is shit and deserves fuck all respect. I spit on them.

Yes yes i was waiting for a bit more feedback before I gave my opinion

Shamrock in his prime in the 90s I think decimates Rickson pretty hard. I think he is just too good everywhere. Plus Hickson was a great athlete but prime Shamrock was perhaps the p4p most explosive fighter ever. The dude went from gear 0 to gear 4 way quicker than anyone at that weight and especially at that time.

Mid 90s UFC rules in an octagon I see shamrock winning with a tko later in the fight.
