actually Hughes seperated his ribs for him ITS A FIGHT IF THE SEPERATED RIBS RUINED HIS CARDIO HE SHOULDVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP HUGHES OFF HIM BETTER THAN HE DID. HE STILL LOST NO MATTER WHAT DUE TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE FIGHT WITH MATT HUGHES! SHOULD RANDYS WIN OVER GONZAGA BE OVERTURNED SIMPLY BECAUSE HIS CARDIO WAS ADVERSELY EFFECTED BY COUTURES TAKEDOWN BREAKING HIS NOSE JUST BECAUSE RANDY DIDDNT INTEND TO BREAK HIS NOSE WITH HIS HEAD IN THE TAKE DOWN. NO!!

I'M TIRED OF EVERYONE MAKING EXCUSES FOR BJ PENN ABOUT HIS LOSSES HE FUCKEN LOST HE GOT BEAT MATT HUGHES HELD HIS ARM BEHIND HIS HEAD AND SMASHED HIS FUCKING FACE IN. SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO QUIT ACTING LIKE ALL OF HIS LOSSES ARE JUST FLUKES. ITS BS.

my thoughts exactly

SHOULD RANDYS WIN OVER GONZAGA BE OVERTURNED SIMPLY BECAUSE HIS CARDIO WAS ADVERSELY EFFECTED BY COUTURES TAKEDOWN BREAKING HIS NOSE JUST BECAUSE RANDY DIDDNT INTEND TO BREAK HIS NOSE WITH HIS HEAD IN THE TAKE DOWN.

If Gonzaga’s nose was broke as the result of Couture’s head slamming into his face, then yes I think the fight should have been ruled a no contest.
That would make the move an unintentional head butt, and head butts are illegal. It would be like unintentionally kicking a guy in the nuts, then beating the shit out him, and saying “I didn’t mean to kick him in the nuts, so its all good”…

As far as Penn goes, I don’t think anyone makes excuses for him when he loses.
So far BJ has four loses two of them as the result of split decision. Personally I think both the split decision loses were bull shit. I think BJ won the fight with Pulver and I think he won the fight against St. Pierre. That is my opinion.
He had dominated Hughes before, was dominating Hughes in their second fight and gassed. The fact he gassed doesn’t take anything away from Hughes; actually it shows that Penn wasn’t as prepared as he should have been. However, Penn did take the fight on short notice, and even GSP said he wasn’t in the same condition as he was when he fought him.

How is that making excuses for his loses?

well GSP already beat BJ once and i think he will again when the rematch happens, so i think that takes out BJ from the contest, and i think GSP would definitely give Silva some fits, don't know if he would be him but it would be a good fight.......but i will take GSP out of the 3

I think BJ could beat GSP in a rematch.
However, I dont think GSP or BJ could beat Silva.
Silva is too tall and too proficient with his strikes. I mean, I think there is a slim (about 1%) chance BJ could get him on the ground and submit him…I really don’t see GSP doing anything against him.
Now…if BJ could convince GSP and Silva to drop down to light weight to fight him, he would destroy both their emaciated asses…
