That was me. I was very surprised but all of the Flames I have on my team had a very good week.

The Flames are killing it. By far the biggest surprise of the year.

For me, I'd say the Islanders have been the biggest surprise of the year. Went from having the 8th worst goal differential in the league last year to the 5th best right now and that's AFTER losing Tavares for nothing. Pretty impressive what Trotz has done with that team.

Calgary looks good on paper and are finally playing to their potential imo. I don't think many would have guessed the Isles would be sitting 1st in the Metro going into the all-star break.

Yeah they are probably the biggest surprise. Most people thought they would be in the hunt for a Top3-5 pick. Trotz and Lou have been great. Did you see Trotz turned to his players during his tribute in Washington saying “that’s gonna be us this year boys!”

Pretty awesome. Toews (Jonathon’s brother) has been excellent since being called up, Del Colle is showing signs of life finally, Brazil/Bailey/Lee have been great and Lehner has been excellent this year along with Griesse. Amazing what one coach can do with the same players as the previous coach had, and turn the ship completely around.

Where da fook are they going to play their playoff games though?

If you guys were GM of an NHL franchise would you trade the 1st and 2nd overall picks in the draft for Loui Eriksson and Adam Larsson?

I feel bad for the Oilers. Hope this will help kick start an upward swing in Oiler fortunes.

Well, it didn't last time. Or the time before that. Or the time before that. Or the time before that, so...

If I were an Oilers fan I wouldn't be holding my breath.

Loved seeing Columbus go all in. Hope the B’s can get Staal on the cheap, and out Coyle up with Krejci.

Well, looks like my fantasy season is over. Pool Party is up 9-0 with 2 shutouts and Bishop just went out for a few days but still stopped 7 of 7 shots.

If it makes you feel any better, no one has won 3 in a row in like 30 years.

No, I have it now. First tiebreaker is whoever had the higher seed so I'm the new champ.

Just sucks that it took a tiebreaker to do it. It was a close series throughout the week but I had the edge.

So basically I am still the lineal, undisputed, reigning, and defending World Champion and you are merely holding an interim championship.
