It's a figure of speech queer.

Nothing wrong with getting choked up or a little misty eyed. We are men, not robots.
I'm so fucking high.

Yeah I didnt like this season, and the ending was crappy... All the characters died for except two and the people that were responsible never got caught.

Was Rachel Mccadams carrying her and Velcoro's baby? I dont remember if they stated a time gap whenever they showed Rachel's character outside of the country.

Anyways, I think they should only have two or three main characters. I felt like this season was to congested and maybe stick to solving for serial killer. Or maybe have a different format but keep a limit on the characters.

ya they were definitely tryna do too much following 4 characters...exchanging breadth for depth just isn't the move for story telling imo. I can understand going for it with the format of the show 12 (1 hour long episodes) but it just didn't translate well I don't think...

True Detective Season 3 was pretty damn good. I still think Season 2 was awesome as well.

Uhh this is how I feel about the ending of season 3.

Spoiler:
Wayne conveniently can't remember where he is but doesnt forget where he is whenever he drove to the police station to talk to his son. Or to go to the director's hotel room? lol It is such a crock; so they leave the ending open to interpretation why not just answer the question that was presented of the beginning of the episode. Out of nowhere Wayne has a flash back of his time in Vietnam and him proposing to his wife. The ending was bullshit.

I dont know what it is but the creator just can't recreate the same magic that he made in the first season. The character dynamic between Marty and Rust is much better than any of the seasons. They should stick to a consistent time line where they stay in the present and solve murder or a kidnapping. \

I'm surprised you feel that way. I quite enjoyed season 3 and Roland West stole the show. I don't find the ending to be bullshit, just frustrating yet optimistic.
