Forming a mouth piece

Postby Legitsu » Fri Jul 22, 2011 8:32 pm

Looks about that time to retire another mouth piece. Just double checking tho. When you guys and or gals form your mouthpiece are you supposed to bite down with your natural bight or with your bottom teeth aligned with your upper teeth? I myself have been doing the natural bite.

Answers needed ASAP
Daniel Cormier=Black Fedor=BLEDOR! (copy rited term)

Sigbet record

I use my natural bite. Then your jaw can remain clenched in its natural position when you are getting hit. Less movement in the jaw = less chance of KO, IMO. I've never done any kind of reading or study on it, though.

I don't think that it matters that much.
Do what you feel comfortable with.

You could be right, and it might not make a difference. Either way, a natural bite is going to be more comfortable too.
