micronutrient testing

Postby thekartal » Sat Nov 27, 2010 5:19 pm

Hi i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it?

if so what their experience was like?

or maybe if someone was knowledgeable on the subject they could give me a brief lesson.

I live in London and would like to have the test done out of interest.

Would anyone know somewhere i could go?

otherwise i believe i would have to send a sample via my doctor to America.

In the US just about any general practitioner ("regular doctor") can do this for you. I know my insurance covers it, no problem. They even do test levels  .

As far as Randy claiming he feels better and has more energy, that doesn't make sense. The test alone effects no change in your energy or anything else. It's correcting areas of deficiency based on the test that will help you but if you aren't eating like a moron, you shouldn't be especially deficient anywhere.

I don't know how it works in the UK, but go to your doctor and ask, it's not a big deal.

micronutrient testing?
how does this work, like a blood test that tests for all vitamins and minerals?

and how would they know what you are deficient in since you need them everyday?
does it show like chronic deficiencies?

edit: nvm, i looked it up some say it tests for long term deficiencies like 3-6 months
