I started the 5X5 program based on advice from this forum. Had good gains for a few weeks, and then injured my knee (unrelated to weight lifting). I just finished my first full workout back and I want to record it here for when I lose/destroy my notebook.

5'4" weight 170
End goals: weight 155; deadlift 250; benchpress 225; squat 350

deadlift 185 lbs 5X5X5X5X5 Total: 4625
benchpress 175 X5X3 155 X5X5X5 Total: 3725
pull ups 7X5X4X4X4
squat 225 5X5X5X5X5 Total: 5625
Final: 13975

Nice work man! Stick with it and your deadlift will shoot right up.

Today's numbers:
deadlift 195 X5X5X5X5X5 total: 4875
benchpress 175 X5X5X3 165 X5X4 total: 3760
Squat 245 X5X4 225 X5X5X5 total: 5580
Pull up 6X6X3

daily total: 14215
Grand total: 28190

My pull ups suffered because I got to where I couldn't hold myself on the bar due to forearm fatigue. I have decided to record my total pounds lifted to hopefully get to the million pound club. I should probably set a deadline for that to help motivate me. I will probably increase my deadlift weight again, but before my knee injury I moved up in weight too quickly and my form was crap. I want to make sure I maintain good form and the last two reps in sets 4 and 5 were both of questionable quality.

Yesterday's workout

deadlift 205 X5X5X5X5X5 total: 5125
benchpress 175 X5X4X3 165 X5X5 total: 3750
squat 245 X5X5X5X5X5 total: 6125
Pull ups 8X5X3

Daily total: 15000
Grand total: 43190

I realized at the end of my 5th set that my squat form may not have been great on the last two or three sets. I need to concentrate on that. I will probably go up in weight, but not much in both deadlift and squats.
