If I'm ten and i was privvy to a fight fixing id tell fucking everyone i could especially after the way may was clowning on him.
I dont see why may would have needed to fix the fight, he isnt as all time great as some peoples say but he is a fantastic fighter with waaay more experience and weight.
Theres a reason this fight came to fruition and we never once heard may even mention a monster like monster inoue, may knew the odds against ten were in mays favour, ten couldnt use kicks and its retarded and moronic to assume a relatively inexperienced fighter like ten may have been able to capitalize on mistakes and openings that far more experienced boxers were unable to, age difference not withstanding.
I dont disagree that it was fishy but i dont see a young guy getting punked like that for any amount of money.
His corner or rizin is totally different but i think mayweather is smart enough to know the matchup was enough in his favor and the fallout of fixing an exhibition match as a retired boxer who prides himself on claiming the GOAT was reason enough not to fix it.
I would absolutely love to see may take on inoue now though, inoue is tiny but i think is more of a pugilist than ten and could push may to a much better fight.

Bruh I've been training over 10 years, spent a year in Thailand and had 2 fights there. Lost my first one even though the dude couldnt walk after (shit judges who called the fight in the bookies favour) and I won my second fight where I had to lay in bed for a week from eating leg kicks from a massive thai. Good thing I had better boxing though.

I've also trained people who have gone on to fight in Thailand.

Enlighten me. What have you done?

I wasnt even bragging about my experience. I've been around people with 300 fights and 30 years training that make me look like a helpless bitch. You just claimed I didn't :p

The saddest part is that you have that much experience and believe it to be real T______T I'll admit the 2nd knock down was a solid uppercut, but everything else was hilarious.

I also don't train anymore as I've had a kid and a bum knee surgery so I feel your pain. I miss training 6 hours a day. I'll admit you could probably whoop my ass right now, but i wouldn't back down from a dick swinging challenge. I'm not here to argue who could whoop who though, I'm here to argue the fight was fake as fook m8.

I'm not sure what I just watched...I thought it was supposed to be an exhibition.

Anyways, yes I'm a moron. Didn't really need to use this fight to answer that. It probably helps to confirm it though.

* - After watching the entire fight, it looked real to me. Floyd pieced him up and decked him. Not too surprising.

Also I didn't know it was straight boxing rules and full contact...I thought they had agreed on something different.

I just listened to Brendan Schaub’s podcast for the 2nd time and he is convinced that it was fake. Schaub has said a lot of odd things in the 2 podcasts that I’ve listened to and I don’t think I’m going to listen to another. He thinks Luke Rockhold will be LHW champ by mid 2019

He also talks about the same subject for wayyyyyy too

Why would a desperate, bleeding-money organization have their biggest name take a dive on their make-or-break-it show? That's business suicide. :?: :?: :?:

I will explain again when you are left handed you have to get your left foot in the correct position before or while throwing your left hand. If you can't set your foot while a good right handed person charges you then you are defenseless. You can do the same to him by taking away the right hand and landing your left. Anyway for me at least it sucks to be a southpaw.

https://www.mmamania.com/2019/1/2/18164 ... xed-idiots

Someone at MMAmania weighs in and asks the same question I did (that no one has answered, by the way): what's the payoff? Bovada was the only site that had odds on this exhibition and they were just for outright winner. Floyd was a -340 favorite. There'd be a bit of an argument if there were lines for Floyd winning in the first round with big returns.

Also, seems two of the loudest advocates of this theory, Schaub and Robin Black, are known Conor fanboys and are probably still butthurt Floyd beat him.

Not getting into the physical components of this. I am not responding to the analysis of the fight video

However

What is the incentive for this on Rizin, Tenshin's and Mayweather's part?

Did Rizin really need to coax Mayweather into this fight so they could sell more ppvs and tickets by planning a fixed fight?

Why would Tenshin agree? What possibly does he gain from this?

Mayweather....what does he gain? Why risk participating in a fixed fight and ruin your legacy for 84 million when you already are a billionaire?

I do not see the logic behind this to be honest. Again not including the fight footage.

Mr Meow...You have fought countless times against hunderds of Kangaroos, some times more than one at a time..

You have taken a poop in thousands of bowls filled with milk and cereals.

You have been offended like a pro,so many times.

You are the all time winner in le Leagues of guessing

You mastered all these arts.......but you don't get this simple bussiness move from RIZIN.

2 months ago... Only former Pride Fans and Japanese people knew about RIZIN.

Now the RIZIN brand is known world wide.

Mayweather is the biggest name out there,if not Conor.

I agree Rizin is much bigger and more well known now.

There card with Tenshin as main event in September did 27,000 at Saitama and the NYE one did 32,000.

So yeah Rizin stood to make a lot of money from Mayweather

However I do not see the connection between that and this fight being fixed. Would Mayweather only agree if tenshin agreed to fix it? Seems unlikely to me. So yeah Rizin getting Mayweather to agree to a boxing bout was huge for their business but I do not see how that connects to this fight being fixed.

Rizin stood to gain a lot from Mayweather participation. I just do not believe he only participated because he was assured Tenshin would throw it.

Re: Poll: Are you a moron?

Postby asdfghjkl » Wed Jan 02, 2019 2:56 pm

here are some points on how it could easily be fixed.

-they could not afford Mayweather for a real boxing match

-Mayweather has too much pride to fake lose even for 100 million (imo)

-Mayweather doesn't want to fight real fights anymore.

-everyone knew it was a show before the fight was even put together.

-rizin is a joke in some areas. ie. gabi Garcia.

so would Floyd take a 'real'(exhibition) boxing match for 9 million or a REAL boxing match for 300 million?

tenshin isn't that big of a star and bringing floydd in to put on a show only brought more eyes to rizin. no one loses.

imagine if Floyd didn't have as much pride as he did and he let tenshin win. boxing would plummet more than rizin would go up and floydds aura is a billion dollar aura while tenshin is a thousand dollar aura.

tenshin doesn't carry the organization and he is disposable/sacrificial to someone like floydd who will bring in a lot of advertisement.
also tenshin gains more starpower from this no matter what.
