I have no idea how you're doing it finkle, you're like Tampa Bay this season.
We all need some place we can go away to, some place where we can be who we should have been instead of who we are.

Hitch has interest in bringing Duncan Keith to Edmonton...

This is an interesting one...The Oilers are sliding and Chiarelli and Hitch are looking to be aggressive and bring in some solid help on the back end...Keith is older, but could be the player who sells Hitch's system to the players while mentoring the young D. Edmonton is not going to sit idly by this year and just go into the night quietly...

Ohhh Chiarelli, so glad the B’s fired your incompetent motherfuckin ass!!!

Spittin Chiclets. Everyone in this thread will love it

Best podcast out there for any hockey fan.

It's hosted by Ryan Whitney and biz nasty, they tell hilarious stories about guys they played with and interview current and former players.

The best hockey interviews you will ever hear, the players actually open up and talk about their ridiculous lives and you also get some top shelf puck talk from two former pros about news around the league.

If you like hockey and you don't listen to this you're a pigeon.

Anyone heard it yet?

bruins2012 wrote:The Buffalo Sabres have placed suspended forward Patrik Berglund on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract.

The team declined further comment in announcing the move Wednesday. Berglund was suspended by the Sabres on Saturday for failing to report to the team for its road game at Washington.

He missed the team's past five games, including two last week when coach Phil Housley said Berglund was sidelined by an illness.

Berglund's agent, Peter Wallen, has not responded to several messages seeking comment.

The 30-year-old Swede has two goals and two assists in 23 games. Buffalo acquired Berglund in July as part of a four-player trade that sent center Ryan O'Reilly to the Blues.

Berglund, who played the first 10 seasons of his career with St. Louis, has three years remaining on his contract at an annual salary-cap hit of $3.85 million.

With 108 days remaining on the season, Berglund was due to be paid $2,729,032. Combined with the three remaining years on the contract, he walks away from $12,579,032, according to CapFriendly.

Berglund has 170 goals and 156 assists for 326 points in 717 regular-season games with the Blues and Sabres.

I hope the Bruins pick him up. We need some forwards and maybe he can play better in a new environment.

He had a no trade in his contract, his agent was supposed to file a list of ten teams he wouldn't play for.

His agent didn't file the paperwork. Buffalo was one of the teams he refused to be traded to but his agent fucked up and didn't submit a single team. The two GM's worked fast to move him and before he had a say in it he was in Buffalo.

Ballsy move to just refuse to be a part of the team with that money on the table.

Lawsuit likely headed that agents way, big money dealt his way for being the legal mind, and yet he completely fucked up filing simple paperwork.

Might have fucked Berglund's career bc he looks like an asshole for walking even though he made it clear he never wanted to go there.

Shit show.

Still hope the B’s take a flyer on him....desperate for a 3rd Line center.

Imagine how fun or NJ or EDM would be if either team had Hall and McDavid together.

Fuck the Oilers and Peter Chiarelli......what a god damn bum.

The Flames are killing it. By far the biggest surprise of the year.
