And how exactly does wrapping a hand help to avoid your bones from breaking?
first off I have to ask, what exactly are you doing with mma gloves? Are you hitting the heavy bag or messing around with your friends?
Secondly, wrapping your hands benefits you in several ways besides "breaking your bones" They give you great wrist support which greatly reduces the risk of sprains. The most important aspect of wraps imo is the fact that they keep your ligaments in your hand from stretching. When you constantly strike (without wraps) the ligaments near your knuckles start to spread apart and give you poor movement later on in life. So wraps are essential once you learn to strike hard.
