But the odds are not very good, are they? Or are you betting on some kind of handicap line?

Nah the Lakers are like -300, but money is money. That is still 1/3 of what you bet returned to you at the end of the night. I am not so worried about the spread as much as I am worried about betting right. I figured that between the 3-5 bets I place a night as long as I win more than lose I come out ok. Most games I bet on are like -150ish.

I do think they will probably cover the 7, but it will be closer than last night so I am not betting the points line.

Well, I just made a small bet on a Holland-Brazil parlay. Wish me luck!

US to win Group +300
US to qualify -200

I am pretty sure the US will at worst qualify, so I bet 1 unit on US to win the group and 3 units on them to qualify. So as long as they qualify I will cover my other bet and make 1/2 unit and if they win then I make 4.5 units.

That's a bit risky. Them losing to Slovenia (team that already has one win) wouldn't be that big of an upset, and even though the US squad has a realistic shot at winning the group after the draw against England, I don't think it's likely. Good luck with it, though.

I think the Portugal odds are pretty good. I was actually thinking about doing some kind of parlay with the easy groups. How would it sound something like Portugal qualifying + Spain winning the group + Germany winning the group? Unibet, for instance, gives you +134.

My four teams to qual are looking good, and the 5th team (USA) is pretty solid too as long as they beat the worst team in their group, they might even pull out the win in that group which would be a nice pay off for me at +300.

Did you put down that bet SI? Germany "should" still win, as long as they beat Ghana though, Spain and Chile will be really close. Spain has to beat Chile and outscore them by 2 goals to take that group. Argentina seems to have been a great bet so far though.

Yeah, I did. I'm not sure if saying "war Germany" would be inappropiate, though.

If my bet for the US to advande goes wrong because of not only one, but two disallowed goals that were infact perfectly within the rules, I'm going to fucking break furniture.

Rarely do I get ticked off when I bet even if there's a last minute goal or something else like that, but this is beginning to be fucking too much. Two games, two goals disallowed and both are potentially meaning if the team drops, or advances.

Fucking ridiculous.

By the way, I think we should be looking at Wimbledon to put some money on whoever plays against the winner of this game.

Fuck yeah USA. Not only did they win and advance (which in itself makes me happy) they also won the group. So both my advance bet and win bet worked.

Hooray for the americans!

(seems like all my group bets landed, that is unless portugal loses by 9 goals against Brazil, and Ivory Coast wins... )

LMAO nice.

Japan won and advanced which is good for me. 100% on group bets so far for me too.

I still have Portugal to advance, Brazil to win the group and Chile to advance. Chile and Portugal almost certainly will advance and Brazil needs to beat or tie Portugal to win the group. So I am looking good.

USA at +300 to win the group was a great bet though.

For today's games, I'm betting on Portugal over Brazil and Chile over Spain. Those odds are just too damn good for me to pass up.
