long lasting gi

Postby JDSHWC » Sun Mar 13, 2011 5:10 pm

I know this isn't the correct forum, i already posted the same thing in the correct one but no one goes to it so its useless. Anyway, i need a new gi that will be able to last a very long time but all of the gi's i saw were about $140 and up, is there anything i can get for cheaper?

Oh and what size gi should i wear? I'm about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds

Honeslty dude, you get what you pay for. Spend the extra $ on good quality stuff and never have to worry again. @ 6 feet and 180 lbs you are probably A3 or A4 size.

I just recently bought a blue and a white Essimo Gi for £140 ($230ish) the pair. The guy had only worn them once each, I believe him too, the blue Gi didn't even look like it had been washed once (Bright blue, and you know they fade fairly quick).

The retail price on Essimo Gis is £150 ($245ish) each.

We do tend to pay a bit more for stuff over here, but I'd still guess they'd be $180 suits and I paid $230 for the pair.

Keep an eye out on Ebay, well worth it as there's always people jumping in at the deepend, buying nice expensive kit, then giving up a few months later.
