Fedor is without a doubt a legend though

Mirko Cro cop was one of the first guys ever to successfully cross over from K-1 to MMA and was a godfather of sprawl N brawl. He was one of the top HW for years, one of the biggest mystics in MMA, is synonymous with the left head kick, one of the best highlight reels in MMA, very respectful, defeated both Josh Barnett and Wanderlei Silva in one night which was his birthday to win the 2006 Tournament. That's pretty legendary.

You need not read further than this, Lowblow. How can you not regard him as such?

Plus his kickboxing record is pretty good with wins over Bonjasky, Aerts, Hunt, and LeBanner. How someone can say Crocop is not a legend is either a hater or probably ignorant.

I've always prefered CroCop to fedor but both fighters certainly deserve respect. They are both legends in there own ways.

I think that one thing that people forget when respecting these guys and then saying they were overrated is the time period in which they fought. For their time period, they were fighting the best. Yeah, they had a few wins that didn't really count for much (Fedor/Zulu, Cro Cop/Dos Caras Jr.) but when you look at the people they had beaten at the time, they were the best of their time period. I don't know many that can amass a 30 something win streak (I don't count Fedor's first loss as a legitimate loss), in this sport. Especially since anything can happen at any given time and a moment's hesitation could mean your first loss. I also don't know many who can become synonymous with one kick to the point where that's what fans expect when they go out to fight. I respect both of these fighters immensely for their accomplishments regardless of their records now. Despite the fact while yes, they probably wouldn't/aren't doing too well with today's contenders, nothing will ever take away from the accomplishments that guys like Fedor, CC, Wanderlei, and Shogun acquired.

Crocop was a fucking beast in his prime. I have to say in the early 2000's the heavy weight competition in Pride was far stronger than the UFC. Hell the Crocop / Fedor match alone qualifies them as legends.

Fedor & Mirko epitomize what a great mixed martial artist should be [in all senses of the term]. Fedor's face at :42 is scary as fuck in that video too...no emotion at all, just a machine behind those eyes.
