Well, first you're an idiot for saying that only men fight with their hands crap. And 2nd, who I believe was the greatest boxer, Muhammad Ali. He was a great role model for African americans during that time and he was a smart fighter, too.

ali

roy jones jr. after he ko's felix trinidad in january.

also its hard to ignore mayweather i think hes a contender for best ever... as cocky as he is, he is the fastest, most accurate, and entertaining boxer there is imo. not to mention 39-0... he shouldnt retire... 10 more fights with no losses i think would make him #1 of all time. yea, i know thats a lot, but hes not that old.

There's way to many to name off but Ali does make the list IMO but not on the top of it compared to some of the others you could go with.
&
Mayweather don't hold a candle to some of these guys it's a slap in the face to the real greats to include him among their names.

Iron Mike was a very dominant champion and he may well have beaten Ali in his prime but that does not make him the greatest.

Ali had it all, power, pose, speed, agility, a boxer's brain way beyond his peers and the deal-clincher - the likability factor.

He also came back from defeats, from time out of boxing, he beat people when everyone thought he was certain to lose.

I am a huge Mike Tyson fan, I wish his career had panned out differently but he let too many of the wrong people influence him and his ended up a sorry shadow of the champion he could have been.

I think Ali would have beaten him just like he beat Big George.

I totally agree with this, Tyson wouldve KO'ed Ali.

but the greatest is Roy Jones Jr. IMO

Ugh, Muhammad Ali was good and all, but to call him a role model, give me a break. I've never seen a person talk more trash than Ali, and I don't care if he "backed it up" or not. I happen to admire sportsmanship a lot, and it's this disrespect that moves professional athletes one step closer to whiny little hoodlums. Any man can run his mouth; only a true one knows how and when to shut it...
