2.26.12

Friday I pulled my neck muscle, holy fucking god that sucked. It is getting better pretty quickly though.

Had a squad comp this weekend. Killed it and did 20 pull ups for the first time in my career :)

Today
Squat
Bench
Chins

Lol it is a priority in my life. I am a very good student in a fairly easy major, I don't stress about grades because I have a Presidents List streak going without too much effort. I just got promoted to a coach at my gym, I'm there 5-6 hours a day. Afterwards I just go eat some weights haha.

03.01.12

Squats 3x5 - 145
Dumbbell bench 3x8 - 45s (Some silly fuckers were doing decline bench and we didn't feel like waiting.
Wide grip pull ups 3x18
BOR 3x6 - 100

I like bent over row a lot and it works into Thursdays really good for me.

3.4.12

Squat 145
Bench 145
Pull ups 10
Rows 50

My training partner lost his title fight last night. It was a shame, he got walled the whole time. Two championship wrestlers and the champ just leaned on him and ran from him the whole night.

Haha pull ups are my strong point

Did some upper body stuff last night. Hopefully I'll recover quickly.

Skipped out on squat, did a whole gymnastic ab workout today. My ankle is getting much much better.

Did 15 sets today
Curls for shits and gigs
BOR
Squat
Bench
Pull ups

Been doing lifts with some explosiveness stuff added after some ei. jumps after squats, plyo pushes after bench and medicine ball throws after deadlift. Any of you got some broscience on that?

I would assume you would be getting more cardio + muscular endurance; but less pure strength due to using more energy on explosive work with shorter rest times. You never know though

If you feel it works better do it. If not don't.

Yeah I've seen it a lot in MMA videos too. It is supposed to help you build fast twitch muscles.

Here are some progress pictures that I have taken.
This is me about a year ago on the beach, check the sweet tan line on the face :P

These are not really to show off, because my results are not very, how do you say, visual? My over athletic capability has shot through the roof. I am not a body builder so I'm not looking to be super tone.
That is my fiance's hello kitty calender, not mine :P
