Tough day today. Got to roll with a 10-0 pro. Bitch heel hooked me. First time I have ever tapped to him. I tapped fast as fuck. Couldn't believe he went for it. I was pretty pissed. Swept him a couple times from half guard. Did a lot of wall work. That is a big weakness of mine. Since I have been training at Severns it is a huge focus. I have never done a wall drill before I started training there.

SOHP and DL tomorrow 531. Going to smash it!

Weird day today, Severns didn't show up or Kraz, so no coaches were there.
Some pretty new guys were there so I showed them spiderweb control and held mits and some free rolling.
Can't wait to lift tomorrow.

Nice lol.

Also were you doing 15 reps in one set?
I was under the impression that high-rep olympic lifts were frowned upon, causing an abundance of injuries (ie. crossfit)

Haha no 3x5
Some times you will be like 5 4 4 for reps. I went 5 5 5. Got all of my reps with the weight.

Watched a lot of PC videos, if I can get under the weight more I can PC around 145 I think.

So for the last few days I have been searching all different kinds of power clean information. My conclussion: I need to get under the weight more. I need to drop down to the ground to get a heavier weight up.

So today when I was loading my deadlift I had the bar with two 45s on it getting ready to throw my other plates on. I was looking at it thinking, man... I think I can PC this. So.. whoop. It goes up like a joke!
So I add some 5s, goes up no problem. So I add some tens. No problem. So I add 5s on top of the tens looking at 165. I cleaned it right up. I think I can get 175, but I didn't really want to push it with some heavy deadlifts coming up.

I feel awesome about it too. I cannot believe I almost cleaned that much weight

Well done man, power cleans are awesome. Fun as fuck too. Singles and doubles are my favourite when doing them.

Hell yeah they are! Such a badass lift.

Got a huge cut today at practice. Literally before I went on the round I got hurt, I told one of my training partners the guy I was rolling with was trying to be a hero and get into a war and I wasn't going to play that shit. I went for a lazy shot and he sprawled and went to reverse me and full on head butted me with the crown of his head, tagged me in the eye brow and cut me pretty good. Had to wait 2 hrs to get it stitched up all while having a head ache from hell, that would be the concussion too.. Fucking retards.

That sucks man. How much training do you have to miss now because of the cut?
