^Lol, I wouldn't break my nose on purpose bro. You could possibly break your ribs too but I wouldn't break those either. But that kinda sucks that you can flick your nose and hurt yourself. Sign-up for boxing with your nose in tact. :D

Breaking bones on purpose unless done by a medical proffessional to make sure the bone heals properly is never a good thing to do. Not to mention your nose would heal & they same exact problem would come back more then likely meaning you were dumb enough to break your nose for nothing.

See a doctor about this sorta of thing 1st & ask questions preferably go see a doctor who is fimilar with fighters involved in doing this sorta thing. Plus braking your nose yourself can also damge your breathing threw your nose as well so definatly see a doctor about this before takin any action & listening to stuff you here from boxers / MMA fighters who may not know wtf they're talkin about.

My old man had his nose broken 8 times before he settled down in life. It is this big, flat ugly thing. I would suggest avoiding breaks as much as you can because you can have some truely permanent changes to your appearance....not to mention possible breathing problems.

If you train seriously and than make a few fights there's probably a 30-40% chance that you'll be assigned to sniff luggages on airports.

It's from some Eddie Murphy comedy. He approached some guy with a huge boxer-like broken nose and asked him "r u sniffing luggages on airport for a living?".
