Yes and no.

Given too much credit, but they also finished guys who fans expected would wreck them.

Their biggest weaknesses are their wrestling D and their belief that this isn’t a sport but a fight. It’s got rules and scoring because that needed to happen to get the sport sanctioned.

They come to fight, they just refuse to learn to wrestle/defend that aspect. They also refuse to play the game the way the puppet masters want.

I agree (for once with you) that the bringing McGregor in is digressing.

On-topic:

Especially Nate Diaz has been ragdolled and plenty of time, the blue print is there to beat him. He's nearly impossible to put down, has great boxing, cardio for days and has a legit ground game. But he lacks in a bunch of areas as well. They're both fighters that stylistically lose to certain fighters. They aren't in any greats conversations but they've enriched MMA with several amazing fights and are popular because of their style both in and outside of the octagon.

Both hall of famers.

Nick Diaz hasn't won a fight in over 8 years.

This is what I love about linker. Posts like this.

Overrated huh? Like Struve? Like Alexander? Like Northcutt? Like McGregor? I mean, I've seen a whole host of names pass thru these threads, that some of you linkers have dick ridden so hard, only to watch them fall...and never mentioned again in these halls we occupy.

So the Diaz brothers are overrated now? Yet they somehow managed to stick around. Nate has positioned himself in a number memorable fights and some of those he won. Same with Nick. Nick has arguably had a better career. Yet we don't talk about Cerrone or Lawler, the same way do we? They're basically the same trajectory. No no, why? Because they're company men. They do wtf they're told to do.

Nate and Nick have a philosophy, which holds true. In boxing, like Klitschko or Fury, when they do the jab jab hold style or jab cross hold style...they win. But it isn't entertaining, and can you really say that you kicked someone's ass, doing that? Same with the Diaz outlook on mma. Some of the most memorable fights is involving the Diaz bros.

You linkers make me laugh.

You speak a lot. Problem is: no one really cares.

Neither of the Diaz bros got flying scissor heel hooked by Ryo Chonan.

If Nate has always been overrated and still beat Conor2X then Conor has always been a goddamn fraud and a bum (Bruins voice)
