2010: Body by 2011?

So my last attempt to have a workout log was hit with the Swine Flu plus my preparation for the national board part 2, 2 day exam covering everything I ever learned in dental school.

I took that exam in December and received my letter in the mail with a passing grade :mrgreen:

I spent the Christmas break resting...resting well :D I didn't overindulge too much, and actually lost some pounds - like 3, lol.

So 2010 rolled around...I have 2 goals

1. Run 365 miles this year
2. Lose weight, gain muscle

My conditioning is shit with little cardio during body by smiff, swine and general inactivity from mid October-December. So using one of Smith's principles, i'm gonna start slow, and pick up the pace as needed.

1 Jan 2010: Ran 1 mile, Ab workout (1 set each targeting upper, lower, oblique, transversus abdominus, lower back)
2 Jan 2010: Stationary Bike workout, Chest and Back, Ab Workout
-These two workouts were with my fiancee, who just got turned on to The Abs Diet, but is more interested in just doing some conditioning first.
3 Jan 2010: No workout, drove back to Houston for school
4 Jan 2010: No workout, school schedule sux after 12 hrs sleep everyday
5 Jan 2010: Started this gem of a workout: "The Spartacus Workout" from Jan/Feb 2010 Men's Health http://www.menshealth.com/spartacus/dow ... orkout.pdf
    Started with 1 circuit with 15-60 seconds rest did it over 15 minutes (timed)
1. Goblet Squat - used 15lb DB
2. Mountain Climber
3. Single-arm dumbbell swing - 15lb DB
4. T-pushup - no weight
5. Split jump
6. Dumbbell row - 2x15lb
7. Dumbbell side lunge and touch - no weight
8. Pushup-position row - no weight
9. Dumbbell lunge and rotation - no weight
10. Dumbbell push press - 2x15lb dumbbell
-I was very gassed after this one, lol. I dare you smiff to try it and see how you feel with all 3 circuits ;)

well...still having problems keeping up witha program...idk..maybe all the structured workouts isn't for me...

so i started a different workout program..LOL...really isn't a workout program...just mostly running

1/24 1 mile, abs
1/26 2 miles, abs, chest and back
1/28 2.5 miles, abs

2/2 3 miles
2/4 2 miles
2/6 Boxing work..."Fedor" jumps with 20 lbs on barbell, 25 min mixing 1,2,3,4 with some footwork

2/10 1 mile run + Boxing work Fedor jumps, 20 min mixing basic punches/footwork again.

2/22 1 mile run + 20 min of: [Boxing work/Fedor jumps/Fedor Hammer (barbell to 1/2 swiss ball)] + {Bench/Chinup + shoulderpress/bent over row]

3/3 1 mile run + abs, chest, back

3/9 MH BW 200 + Abs
3/11 MH BW 200 + Abs
13.5 miles to date
