As the saying goes, you are only as good as your last fight.  By internet and blog logic, you’re only as boring as your last decision.  People love decisive victories and although a few of the fighters below have won Fight of the Night honors with their decision, like it or not, boo birds will sing you the song of their people.  With that in mind, I thought we’d take a look at the participants of the upcoming UFC on FX 8 main card and see if we can separate those who finish their fights from those who hang on and grind. From the top down it breaks up like this:

Vitor Belfort – The “Phenom” has not gone to decision since Sept. 22nd, 2007; 8 fights and 6 wins ago.

vs.

Luke Rockhold – The former Strikeforce champion has only been to a decision twice in his 11 fight career.

Chris Camozzi – Camozzi is on a two-fight decision run. He has not finished a fight since a June 2012 doctor stoppage over Nick Catone.

vs.

Jacare Souza – Jacare has not been to decision since losing his Strikeforce belt to Luke Rockhold in September of 2011.

Rafael Dos Anjos – Uno Dos Tres Cuatro Anjos has posted back-to-back decision wins. He has not finished anyone since choking out Kamal Shalorus in May of 2012.

vs.

Evan Dunham – Dunham has gone 1-1 in his last two fights, losing a unanimous decision and winning a split one. His last finish was a doctor stoppage against Nik Lentz in January 2012.

Rafael ‘Sapo’ Natal – Natal has gone 1-1 in the octagon since winning a decision against Michael Kuiper in February of 2012.

vs.

Joao Zeferino – The Brazilian Samurai is a promotional newcomer who has submitted his last two opponents.  He has not been to decision since August of 2012.
