UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey doesn’t get star-struck too often. She’s appeared in movies with some of the biggest names in Hollywood, and has “ran into” several other celebrities while helping build women’s MMA.

However, when it comes to the WWE and pro wrestling, that’s another story.

While reports of Rousey appearing on a future WWE pay-per-view continue to be thrown out there, she got herself overly excited when a current wrestling star mentioned her on Twitter.

Roman Reigns, part of the faction “The Shield,” agreed with a follower that Rousey would make for a good member of the unit.

“How did I not see this till right now!?” Rousey asked on Twitter, adding the hashtag This is Awesome. “By the way, I fan-girled out on that Roman Reigns tweet so bad I screwed up like 5 times lol.”

Rousey returns to the Octagon next month, defending her belt against Alexis Davis in the co-main event of UFC 175. She and her “Four Horsewomen” group have developed quite a strong following among both MMA and WWE fans in the recent months, showing off their pro wrestling “moves” in several videos.
