The Las Vegas-based promotion announced multiple bouts for the event on Saturday night, including a previously reported headliner between Stephen Thompson and Anthony Pettis at 170 pounds. UFC Fight Night 148 takes place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., and will air on ESPN+.

Four other contests were also confirmed: Randa Markos vs. Angela Hill at strawweight; Maycee Barber vs. J.J. Aldrich at flyweight; Alexis Davis vs. Jennifer Maia at flyweight and Jussier da Silva vs. Deiveson Figueirdo at flyweight.

Blaydes had a six-bout unbeaten streak snapped at UFC Fight Night 141, as he suffered a 45-second TKO defeat in a rematch with Francis Ngannou in Beijing on Nov. 24. Prior to that, the 27-year-old had bested the likes of Alistair Overeem, Mark Hunt and Alexey Oleynik during his hot streak.

Willis, meanwhile, has reeled off eight consecutive triumphs since losing his professional debut. “Big Pretty” is 4-0 and UFC competition, including a three-round verdict over Hunt in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 142 on Dec. 1.
