It was announced today UFC middleweight C.B. Dolloway has suffered an injury and has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming UFC on FX 8 showdown with Cezar “Mutante” Ferreira. Ferreira’s replacement opponent is Chris Camozzi.

Camozzi is coming off a split decision victory over Nick Ring last month at UFC 158 in Canada. He is currently riding a four fight win streak and 9-2 in his last eleven fights. The 26-year-old southpaw will look to keep the ball rolling and become a contender at middleweight.

Ferreira was a cast member on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil. Ferreira defeeated Gustavo Sampaio, Leonardo Macarrao, and Thiago Perpetuo inside the ultimate fighter house to capture a shot in the finale. He went on to defeat Sergio Moraes by unanimous decision to become The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil Middleweight Tournament Winner.

UFC on FX 8 is set to take place on May 18th in Jaragua do Sul, Brazil. The card will be headlined by Vitor Belfort, who will be clashing with former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold.
