Mixed Martial Arts Career
Frausto debuted in mixed martial arts on February 13, 2009 and faced Karina Hallinan at WarGods: Valentine's Eve Massacre. She defeated Hallinan by Split Decision.
She next faced Sarah Boyd on June 27, 2009 at Disturbing The Peace in Fresno, California. Frausto won the fight by Unanimous Decision.
On July 25, 2009, Frausto fought Leeann Jenkins at Pure Combat 9 - Home Turf. She won the fight by Unanimous Decision.
Frausto faced Elisha Helsper at Strikeforce Challengers 4: Evangelista vs. Gurgel on November 6, 2009 and won the fight by Unanimous Decision.
She faced Jessica Rakoczy at Tachi Palace Fights 3 - Champions Collide on February 4, 2010. Frausto won the fight by armbar in the first round.
She faced Miesha Tate on March 26, 2010 at Strikeforce Challengers 7: Johnson vs. Mahe. Frausto lost the fight in the second round by armbar submission.
Frausto returned at Bellator 23, where she faced off against Rosi Sexton. Fausto maintained her balance on a few early attempts from her opponent to take her to the mat, and delivered a massive knee to Sexton's chin that left her flattened on the canvas. A few punches followed to seal the deal, and Frausto was declared the winner just two minutes into the fight by KO (Knee and Punches). Sexton was actually expected to participate in Bellator's first-ever 115 lbs. women's tournament, but after the loss, Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said that Sexton would sit out of the tournament and a replacement would be found. They also said that Frausto was a likely replacement, after her high-light reel KO over Sexton, and only a few days later it was announced that she would in fact be the replacement.
Bellator Tournament
After defeating Rosi Sexton it was announced that Frausto would be a participant in Bellator's Season Three Women's 115 lbs. Tournament.
Her opening round fight took place at Bellator 25 on August 19, 2010, and she faced undefeated fighter Jessica Pene. Frausto went on to win the one-sided Decision (Unanimous), handing Pene her first career loss. Pene was unable to overcome Frausto's capable takedown defense at any point in the 15-minute affair, and while Frausto wasn't able to display her flashy attacks, she was able to easily claim all three rounds of the fight.
Personal Life
Frausto is dating fellow MMA fighter Jorge Gurgel.
