UFC 134: Silva vs. Okami
UFC 134 is a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on August 27, 2011 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
On May 11, 2011, UFC officials announced that Maiquel Jose Falcao Goncalves had been released from the organization and pulled from UFC 134 due to ongoing legal issues.
On July 6, 2011, UFC officials announced that Dan Miller had replaced Alexandre Ferreira in a bout against Rousimar Palhares. While it was initially assumed that Ferreira had been injured, on July 12, 2011, Sherdog first reported that he had actually been released from the UFC.
On July 14, 2011, MMAJunkie reported that Felipe Arantes had replaced Antonio Carvalho on the card.
On August 4, 2011, UFC officials announced that Mike Swick had been forced off of the card due to an undisclosed injury. On August 22, 2011 UFC officials announced that Luis Ramos had been tabbed to replace Swick.
