PFC
The Palace Fighting Championship (PFC) was an American based mixed martial arts promotion. They are on a regional level, with their events taking place at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California. The promotion was created in 2007 by Christian Printup. Viewed as a minor circuit, Palace Fighting Championship features up and coming MMA stars of the Central Valley and state of California.
The PFC features fighters from all weight-classes, beginning at Flyweight (125 lbs.) and moving all the way up to Heavyweight (205 lbs. - 265 lbs.). They feature such fighters as Doug Marshall (former WEC Light Heavyweight Champion), Wesley Correira, Alex Schoenauer, Phil Baroni, Gabe Ruediger (former WEC Lightweight Champion and TUF contestant), Carlo Prater (former WEC Welterweight title challenger), and Cole Escovedo (former WEC Featherweight Champion).
The Palace Fighting Championship has immediately ceased operating events at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif., severing a longstanding relationship. The promotion’s web site has also been shut down.
Sources indicate that PFC president Christian Printup still owns the rights to the promotion and its contracts, so it is possible that the PFC could resurface elsewhere, most assuredly under a different name
In October 2009. Printup announced that he has formed a new company ESMG World, INC with undisclosed partners and that their new venture Playboy Fight Night will begin operation in 2010. ESMG holds a license from Playboy Enterprises to stage mixed martial arts, boxing and muay thai events world wide with Playboy models, music and cross-promotions as part of the event.
