Mixed Martial Arts Career
Meisha Tate recorded a 5-1 record, competing in smaller promotions as well as one fight in Strikeforce. She was then slated to fight Kim Couture, wife of UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, at Strikeforce's ShoMMA 1. Couture then withdrew from the fight, though reasons are still unknown. There are rumors that have been spread by Tate, stating that the Couture couple are getting a divorce and that is why Kim withdrew from the fight. Couture was replaced by Sarah Kaufman, who defeated her via unanimous decision.

Tate is dating fellow Victory Athletics fighter Brian Caraway.
