[edit] Mixed Martial Arts Career
[edit] Dream Featherweight Grand Prix
Micah competed in the DREAM Featherweight (63kg/138lb) Grand Prix. He lost in the opening round to former WEC Bantamweight title challenger Yoshiro Maeda.
[edit] Post-DREAM
After losing to Yoshiro Maeda, Miller re-emerged at a Fight Party event, where he defeated his opponent by TKO (Punches) in the third round. From there he picked up a Rear Naked Choke win at another smaller show.
After racking up two impressive wins, Miller returned to action at a Shine Fights event, titled "American Top Team vs. The World," where he represented American Top Team against Anthony Morrison. Late in the second round, Miller submitted his opponent with an Arm Triangle Choke to win his third fight in a row. His next fight took place at Astra: Yoshida's Farewell, where he faced off against Sengoku 2009 Featherweight Grand Prix Finalist Michihiro Omigawa. Miller found his win streak ended, as Omigawa won the fight by Decision (Unanimous).
He bounced back a few months later at XFC 11: The Next Generation, where he faced off against Bruce Connors, who had previously fought for the inaugural XFC Featherweight Championship. At only 2:01 of the first round, Miller ended the fight in impressive fashion, knocking out his opponent and picking up the win by KO (Punch).
Only two months later, on September 9, 2010, Miller faced off against UFC veteran and former PFC Featherweight Champion Diego Saraiva at an event titled, TPF 6: High Stakes. The fight had title implications, and Miller went on to pick up the win by Decision (Unanimous) and will now likely challenge Tachi Palace Fights Featherweight champion Isaac De Jesus for the belt.
