Kyle "KO" Noke is a Australian mixed martial artist who competes as a Middleweight. He has fought for EliteXC and the Australian fighting promotion Spartan Reality Fight. Noke is a former Xtreme Fighting Championship Middleweight Champion and is known for his bouts with Australian rival and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contender George Sotiropoulos and Strikeforce fighter Scott Smith.
He is the former security guard of "The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin. He served as Irwin's bodyguard for three years during Irwin's heyday as host of the Australian-based nature show. He got the job because Irwin was in fact a huge MMA fan. Part of Noke's job was to train "The Crocodile Hunter" between filming sessions. Noke and another bodyguard worked with Irwin on boxing, jiu jitsu and wrestling. Sometimes, they put on MMA gloves and sparred.
Noke was a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 11: Team Liddell vs. Team Ortiz. Noke won his elimination round fight to make it into the house, and won his first round bout against Clayton McKinney before falling to Kris McCray in the second round, via three-round unanimous decision.

Mixed Martial Arts Career
The Ultimate Fighter
Noke was announced in late-January 2010 as a participant on The Ultimate Fighter 11, as a Middleweight contestant. After defeating Warren Thompson in the opening round, to earn a spot in The Ultimate Fighter house, Noke was the first pick of Chuck Liddell. Interestingly enough, Noke's last win before entering the competition was a Decision (Unanimous) over Kyacey Uscola, who also made it onto the same season of the show on the opposing team, as Tito Ortiz's second choice.
In the first fight of the season, once teams were chosen, Noke faced off against Clayton McKinney. At only 2:44 of the first round, Noke defeated his opponent with a Triangle Choke.
When the Quarter-final match-ups were chosen, Noke was chosen to face off against Kris McCray, who he went on to lose to by Decision (Unanimous).
UFC
Noke was still given a spot on The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale on June 19, 2010, where he faced off against Josh Bryant. Noke used effective and relentless striking to jump out to an early lead – one from which Bryant never recovered. Already quicker to the punch, the Australian further gave himself an edge by slowing Bryant with stinging low kicks. The quickly mounting damage finally proved too much in the second round, when a final barrage sent Bryant to the mat. Noke followed with a quick onslaught of additional strikes until the referee halted the action at the 3:12 mark of the second round, handing Noke the win by TKO (Punches).
