Gary Frazier is an American mixed martial artist who competes as a Heavyweight. He currently trains with UFC veteran Matt Grice. Though he had a promising High School wrestling career, Frazier passed up on a Collegiate career, despite winning two state titles while in High School. In his amateur mixed martial arts debut, he earned a TKO, and went quickly into a professional career. His professional debut was against Olympic wrestler Daniel Cormier, on September 25, 2009 at Strikeforce Challengers 3: Cummings vs. Kennedy. Frazier lost due to TKO (Punches) in the second round.

After his loss to Cormier, Frazier's next bout took place at a 5150 Combat League event, where he faced off against Ray Clayton for the promotion's Heavyweight title. At 1:16 of the fourth round, Frazier earned himself his first professional win, as well as his first title, ending the fight by TKO (Punches).
