Bellator 73 is a mixed martial arts event held by the Bellator Fighting Championships on August 24, 2012 at Harrah's Tunica Hotel and Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. The event will air live on MTV2 and feature the finals of the 2012 Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament and the Season Six Bantamweight Tournament.
A planned Featherweight Championship bout between Pat Curran and Patricio Freire was cancelled when Curran broke his orbital bone in training.
Kelvin Tiller replaced an injured Marcus Aurelio (2) in a bout against Amaechi Oselukwue.
