MMA Career
Perales began his career in the now-defunct Palace Fighting Championship defeating Martin Sandoval in his debut which led to an unsuccessful Flyweight Championship bout against Pat Runez at PFC 13: Validation in May 2009.
The following month, Perales lost a second straight bout via rear-naked choke and did not compete professionally for almost two years. In 2011 Perales returned to win two bouts via submission in California-based regional promotions.
