Video: Former UFC champ Anderson Silva's latest injury update

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has posted his latest video update from the comeback trail.

In his newest video, Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC), who snapped his leg in a UFC title loss to Chris Weidman (11-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) on Dec. 28, posted a video of him working on his boxing.

Although the year-end injury prompted speculation about the veteran middleweight’s potential retirement, both he and UFC President Dana White have assured he’ll return to the cage. Although initial estimates that he could return by the end of the year may have been premature, the fighter, who turned 39 this past week, has said he’s committed to fighting again.

Check out the above video to see his latest progress.
